Having been busily writing up reports Akkei pauses,eyes rising as sudden reading flicker onto her main computer screen."Hmmh?What is this?" Clicking through the programs she frowns at first,slowly changing to a dark smile."Abnormal energy release..and these waves only a shard would emit..heh.." Quickly pinpointing coordinates she gets up and hastily starts to get ready quietly,grabbing her zanpakuto and strapping it on along with a few extra things."..Ah...almost forgot!" Pulling out a small beaker with pink liquid she carefully tucks into one of the pockets. "Hmmh,there." Smirking darkly she quietly slips out of the labs,heading for the main entrance. 'This time,he will not escape by chance.'

___ Back at fight with Destadi ___

Destadi's tendrils breaking through his guard,digging into chest and sides Loki growls from the pain off the hooked spikes digging in and out in tearing manner, tossing him along airborne from impact.Using weight of his sword to center himself and planting feet firmly on the ground he digs it deep into the earth to use as anchor,skidding to a stop.Two sets of three deep gouged wounds run on each of his sides from the tendrils,quickly coloring red.Same double set of three curved slashes decorating his chest in crisscrossing lines, running over the three pale parallel deep scars left from old battle.The white of the torn under robe slowly starting to seep through red with blood.Growling more in anger then any physically registered pain Loki carefully watches Destadi for next moves,noting to himself exposed midsection and sides with the dark shield gone,eyes flickering to the Hogyoku shards upon their appearance.Seeing increase in energy and change in appearance he quickly digs Raijin out,getting a proper grip on the heavy looking hammer blade. He's preparing something.Has to be major...those shard are giving a huge boost. Even I can feel it.Feh,cheater.But I got him angry enough to use them,so last attack was a success. Heh. Ready, Rai? Let's pay back this overgrown kitty for last time. Getting grinning,cocky reply from his partner Loki's eyes briefly find Altria,a brief gesture left over from academy days explaining his plan,'dodge and strike'. Returning attention to Destadi he lets out a low whistle at completed change in appearance,smirking at the malicious growl directed at him.Observing dark maroon reiryoku gathering inside tigers open maw and quickly summing up it's an incoming Cero Loki tightens grip on his blade,collecting reiryoku to his legs and taking quick second to thank luck for his insight to get weights off. If I had them still on,this would be suicidal to pull off...Heh..more suicidal.So getting chewed for this later. The Cero fired for drawled out moment it looks to hit him,surprised image suddenly dissolving.Having taken off in golden tinged flash of shunpo that left an after image Loki races to the side of the Cero,right along it,but going in opposite direction,for Destadi. Closing distance quickly he swings the heavy blade back,held in its proper grip this time,and slashes out aiming for Destadi's vulnerably exposed midsection,hoping aid of surprise will help.

New wounds opening along her back,arms and chest from the tendrils,getting slammed down again she coughs painfully,fighting to catch her breath.Staggering up slowly,everything going black for a moment Altria wobbles,digging Tsuki into the ground for support.Blinking black spots away and taking careful,slow breaths she directs reiryoku to reopened and new wounds.Escalating energy from Destadi catching attention Altria slowly turns in his direction,eyes widening slightly at sight of Hogyoku shards and his changing appearance.Quickly glancing around to reaffirm everyone's positions she catches Loki's gesture.'Oh no..he's going to do something stupid again...' Starting to make a move for him she freezes seeing maroon reiatsu gathering at Destadi's mouth,recognizing a coming Cero.'Bloody daaamn!' Trusting Loki with whatever plan he has decided on she pulls Tsuki out of the ground,gripping hilt tightly and uses Mugetsu to move to Shiro and Uriko, taking hold of them before jumping further away from firing range.Wincing feeling some ribs shift Altria wobbles slightly,letting of Uriko and Shiro to lean on her blade again.

Not even being taken by surprise, four tendrils suddenly shoot out at loki slamming into his midsection and opening even deeper and bloody wounds. The fired cero continues on until striking into a far of mountain. at first nothing seems to happen, when a huge explosion suddenly rumbles in the distance, within seconds the mountain is completely gone, as with everything else in the 120 mile blast radius. the edge of the crater stops just two feet from infront of Desta's claws. He turns slowly and stare fixatedly at Loki, growling darkly he advances on him slowly like a Tiger just before going for the kill strike. Tendrils poised at the ready, he waits a few seconds before lashing them at Loki, clawing and tearing at him relentlessly.

~At Arcana HQ~

Sensing the faint readings of an incredibly powerful spiritual signature, Mikiru slowly rouses from his sleep in the medical wing as he's still recovering from his first encounter with Destadi. He carefully sits up and glances over to his Zanpakuto Tatsutahime who is leaning against the wall by his bedside. A thoughtful debating look flickers across his face before being replaced with one full of determination and focus. He carefully takes Tatsutahime from her position on te wall, then very steadily eases himself off the bed and leans on his Zanpakuto for support. "Let's go... Tatsutahime...." With his mind set on going to investigate the strange signature, Mikiru makes his way to the main entrance, a rather distant look in his different colored eyes he slowly passes Akkei, beginning to look vaguely tired and leaning heavily on his zanpakuto.

'Mikiru-kun??' Staring after Mikiru in confusion she notes direction he's heading in,eyes narrowing.Catching up in few quick steps Akkei places herself in front of him,crossing her arms."Mikiru...why are you not in bed?And where do you think you're going?" Staring at him questionably,eyes narrowed,Akkei curbs her impatience to get going,keeping calm look,having no intention of showing she was heading out.

Four tendrils slamming into his midsection and tearing new deep wounds Loki gets pushes back.Breathing heavily,blood pours from deep wounds decorating his chest,torn hakana top starting to soak through with blood.Head whipping back at sound of explosion his expression turns surprised,then infuriated. Keeping tight lid on anger,knowing it's bad idea to let it rule you in battle he turns back to stare at Destadi coldly."Overkill much?I liked that mountain. Nice place in summer.Gets lottsa people.Someone innocent,having nothing to do with this,might have gotten hurt.You Hollows disgust me.All animal with no control. No matter how great your power is..losing control like this is pitiful." Growling right back Loki hefts his hammer sword up,electric current along the blade increasing and lightning sparks starting to jump off his own body.Letting reiatsu climb up more,drawing out more reiryoku he smirks tauntingly,making 'come at me' gesture with his hand."Come on then,you overgrown Hollow kitty.You want to kill me?Come and get it. >p " Dashing along tendrils lashing at him Loki strikes back at them lightning quick,aiming to cut the pads with claws off.Each time he blocks one of the tendrils the current jumps from the blade and races down tendril itself.The sparks generated by his own reiatsu make any physical contact with him deliver a small shock. Ignoring new wounds opening on his arms,legs,back and just all over Loki keeps rushing around, ducking,dodging and parrying tendrils while slashing back at them when possible, aiming to cut clawed ends off.Seeing opportune moment he draws five kunai from pouch on left leg using free hand,charging three with current and throwing them aiming for Destad's exposed middle,throwing other two down near his feet seconds later.The red papers tied to the handles suddenly begun to smoke and the two kunai erupt in a large explosion.Changing grip on his blade Loki prepares to follow up with further attack or defend,as needed.

~with Altria~

Uriko is suddenly picked up by Altria along with Shiro, and is carried off to a safer distance from Destadi's fired Cero. Seeing altria in pain and let go of her as she lands to lean on her sword, Uriko looks at her with concern. 'Nee-chan...!' Carefully looking over her injuries Uriko quickly uses a healing kido to mend the wounds fully. She then takes out a vial with pale pink liquid in it and hands it to Altria, "for.... healing internal injuries.... and broken bones...." she looks concerned and a little bit nervous.

Heading whipping at sound of Cero hitting the mountain her eyes widen at the sight of devastation it leaves behind.'A mountain!! He leveled a whole mountain with that Cero!What kind of monster is he?Loki-kun! I have to back him up!' Wheezing painfully,suddenly feeling healing kido being used on her Altria looks up at Uriko in surprise,which quickly changes to gratitude."Uri-chan..thank you." Feeling somewhat better she carefully takes the vial and uncorking it drinks the pink liquid while leaning on Tsuki.'It's..sweet...' Tilting her head back to get last drops Altria sighs in relief,feeling warmth spreading through as medicine begins to work,a sweet taste lingering in her mouth.Corking the vial and returning it she smiles warmly at Uriko,"Thanks you,Uri.You're a saver.We couldn't go on without you around." Wincing at feeling of bones shifting back into place to mend Altria cringes,closing her eyes and biting down on her lip,staying still for a moment waiting for healing to finish.Breathing easier soon she stretches, opening her eyes and pulling Tsukiyomi out of the ground."Uri,thank you.Now I can go back up Sparky." Offering Uriko a smile she concentrates on Loki's overflowing reiatsu,shining brightly like a beacon,and quickly flash steps to his side,taking defensive stance,shadow circle beneath her feet shifting in preparation.

Staring at Akkei in a calm way, Mikiru sighs, "Kei-chan... This one.. is going to investigate the source of this power surge.... it could only be from the power of the hogyoku shards... and more than just the three that were taken from Arcana...." He stops leaning on his Zanpakuto and stands up straight, previous signs of weariness fading from his body, determination setting in his different colored eyes. "surely you sensed it as well? why else would you be heading to leave kei-chan?" he speaks in a knowing way, obviously sensing that Akkei was indeed intending to head out and search for the disturbance and the source of the power flux. "This one.. is coming with you... even if you wish for me to do otherwise.." he smiles slightly at her, his mind completely set on leaving.

~Arcana HQ~
Seeing determination settling into his eyes she utters a sigh,knowing once Mikiru set his mind on something it's next to impossible trying to argue or talk him out of it."Miki-kun...in such case,I really have no choice,now do I.Let us be off then..together." Smiling at him Akkei links her arm with his free one and continues on for the main entrance,sharing what her scan detected."It was indeed Hogyoku shards..twelve of them in fact,three of which were stolen from us.Surge is originating from Seireitei so we'll have to be careful to stay undetected." Having reached outside Akkei snaps her fingers,pulling garganta open."This should take us close to it but with enough distance to look around first,no need to pop up in the middle of it all." Letting go of his hand and stepping back to look up in his eyes Akkei places one hand on his chest gently, "Mikiru-kun..before we depart..promise me you will not push yourself...You're still recovering,it's a crucial stage.If you push too hard and strain yourself, healing process will be set back..even might need to be started over.So please, promise me you won't push and strain yourself,and you will stop." Peering him in the eyes she has worried look,purple orbs glittering with care and concern for Mikiru.

~back with Loki, Altri, and Co.~

Roaring in fury as Loki dances around him and slashes at his tendrils, he jumps back skidding across the ground, he growls irritatedly as the electrical current from loki races down his tendrils and through him causing painful shocks to his exposed areas. He hardly notices when the kunai bombs blow up in front of him, and prepares to lunge at loki, when Altria suddenly catches his attention. suddenly jumping at her with outstretched claws and fangs, he claws her down the front then twirls around in the air, bashing his spiked tail into her before landing and rushing at Loki again. dark maroon reiatsu beginning to gather inside his mouth once again.

Glancing over at Loki and seeing blood pouring heavily from his many wounds her heart leaps in fear,tightness in her chest making it hard to breath for a moment.'Loki-kun!!He looks all torn up..it must hurt horribly..I must heal him! That bastard..I wont forgive him this..I'll make him pay with interest!' Changing grip on her sword with intention to heal him her head whips around when Destadi makes sudden jump at her.Without command shadow shield rises from circle beneath her feet,instead of sinking into flesh his claws tear through it's strange surface.Spiked tail coming next it bashes into her left side,sending skidding.Digging Tsukiyomi into ground and sliding to a stop, a bloody stain appears on her side,quickly expanding with the spike having dug in quite deep.Making absolutely no sound she suddenly surges forward,grabbing Destadi's tail close to the tip with both hands,paying no attention to spikes digging into her palms,and gives a pull of strength surprising and unexpected from someone of her built and stature.Using shadows from circle beneath to anchor herself she does two twirls,pulling Destadi by the tail and suddenly letting go, effectively preventing him from pouncing on Loki and sending flying into nearest trees.Walking back to Tsukiyomi she pulls him from the ground, settling fingers around hilt in a firm grip.Slowly,from the wounds on her palms inflicted by spikes rivulets of blood run down the handle,along the black of the blade and drip to the ground from the tip.Her left hands bleeds in similar manner,droplets dropping from fingertips.Making no move to stop the bleeding Altria calmly advances in Destadi's direction,breeze ruffling her bangs to reveal ruby red eyes glittering coldly.With hard to notice shift her manifested reiatsu seems to convert into black just that little bit faster,seal on left side of her neck glowing blazing red against her skin.

Listening intently to Akkei's debrief of the information gathered from her scanners, he has a thoughtful look which quickly chances to a slightly surprised one when Akkei stops him before they head through the garganta, asking him not to strain himself for fear of reversing the healing processes. Understanding her concern, he caresses her face gently with his free hand, smiling in a reassuring way. "Kei-chan.... This one promises not to over strain himself in this... and will pull back if need be...." he looks up at the garganta, "let us be off... this one is sensing that things will not be as simple as retrieving the shards and returning back..."

Leaning into soft caress of his fingers her eyes close,right hand placed on his chest drawing together to clutch front of his shihakusho tightly.Remaining completely still in such a way for three seconds counted out in her mind Akkei opens her eyes slowly and draws back,stepping away from him with a soft sigh. Quieting down nagging voice of worry with reassurance of being there this time and being prepared Akkei turns away from him, facing wavering blackness of garganta,three quick steps carrying her to edge of it.Running through Mikiru's words about retrieval of shards she straightens out to full height,squaring her shoulders. Without turning she intones,"I hoped they will not,there are unsettled things to settle,"dead cold iciness in her tone masking equally cold fury running beneath.Stepping into the garganta she is swallowed by the murky blackness within.

Opening exit point among trees to prevent visual detection Akkei quietly glides from the portal,falling back closer to the cover of dense foliage.A number of reiatsu signature catch her attention a short distance to the north. Concentrating on them she studies each in turn. 'Shinobimaru Asaka...Uriko Katsura...the golden one must be the boys..Ah...and as predicted,Destadi Rangari..getting boost from shards..our shards!' Narrowing eyes she picks out another signature advancing on Destadi's,flickering between silver and black, a distinctive Hollow vibe appearing and disappearing.'This doesn't bode well..it shouldn't be too late to stop it before further spreading..But why are they fighting?' Frowning she tries to puzzle out possible reasons for the situation,'If he is Shinobimaru's old friend,why is she attacking?What has occurred between?..No..it matters not,our only goal here is to retrieve stolen shards.And my insensitive here is to settle unfinished business with certain soon to be dead tiger.Those are priorities.' Tugging gloves hugging her hands into more comfortable position she waits for Mikiru,anticipating looming encounter.

following akkei through the garganta, mikiru appears beside her and quickly scans the area being sure that no one else is around. He turns his attention to the many different reiatsu signatures all swirling around in what would appear to be a battle. instantly he picks out Destadi's signature and remains focused on it, tuning out all the other signatures except for one that seems to be flickering between hollow and not. Sighing Mikiru repositions his zan into a more comfortable position before speaking in a low almost grim tone, "... it would appear... this will be a very messy encounter......" he goes silent and finishes the rest of the sentence in his head, not wishing for akkei to hear, '..... one false move on anyone's part... and this whole entire operation could be jeopardized....'

~in the forest~

After being swung and thrown by his tail into the trees, Desta slams into the ground on his back, and fires his cero blast into the sky. the maroon beam lights up the sky with a flash, almost like a pillar of light leading to the heavens. after it dies down, he growls ferociously, clawing to his feet and scoring the damp ground with shallow rivets. His eyes glow palely in the hollow eye sockets of his mask, tinting the white bone color slightly pink from the red light. He lashes his tail irritably and crouches down, prowling stealthily through the low brush, making his way around til he has a an open shot at Altria from the side. crouching down lower, his tail quivers in anticipation, maroon reiryoku gathering around his claws to reinforce them with armor piercing qualities and honing sharpness. after many minutes of total silence, he sonidos forward, and leaps into the air, pouncing at altria with claws outstretched, glistening with dark maroon reiryoku gathered around them.

~somewhere nearby~

After wandering in the forest for a long while, Reitei pauses and stares off in the direction of the sudden maroon cero shooting into the sky. "??? huh?? what's that? ... it's kinda pretty!" He decides to race towards it, and comes into the clearing. he looks around, then notices altria before anyone else. O O .... XD "Altria!!!!" he suddenly runs over and tackles her to the side in a glomp, unintentionally pushing them both out of desta's path, and dodging his claws at the same time. >w< he smiles happily and huggles altria.

Standing on guard Loki breathes heavily,blood pouring from numerous wounds. Large zanpakutou held at point in front of himself pulls his torso to hunch forward slightly under the weight,legs set apart to keep balance. His hakana top hangs in shredded remains,deep slashes and gashes from claws decorating his chest and sides.Some wounds have stopped bleeding from others blood flows profusely. Turning his head to the side and raising left shoulder he brushes face against it to wipe off blood from the cut on his cheek.Seeing Destadi rushing for him,glow of reiatsu gathering at his mouth indicating incoming Cero he hefts Raijin up, switching around to the hammer side and preparing to strike at Destadi before he can fire his Cero.Stopping in confusion when instead Destadi is yanked back Loki watches Altria spin and send tiger flying with some amazement.Seeing her red eyes his upcoming remark freezes in his throat.Shivering at the coldness they reflect he focuses instead on Destadi, noting tiger is nowhere to be seen.Stabbing Raijin into the ground Loki pulls down his goggles,switching to reiryoku reading mode and scanning area where Destadi landed.There he is...what's he doing??...Looks like..stalking? Observing Destadi prowling through the bush Loki glances at Altria,figuring out she's the to be target.Deciding to take advantage of situation he pulls Raijin out and steps back,melting into shadows of the trees around.Activating cloaking device attached to his wrist he becomes engulfed in pale glow,his presence masked. Circling around Loki stealthily stalks unsuspecting tiger on the hunt,being careful to keep enough distance for his presence to remain fully hidden. Seeing Destadi prepare to pounce Loki grins,gripping Raijin in front of himself.The moment Destadi sonidos forward and pounces Loki breaks into shunpo,reiatsu rising up in flash of golden and breaking cloaking that's been keeping him hidden. Right on Destadi's heels Loki jumps up high,holding Raijin back over his head and comes down on Destadi with full force,hammer part of the blade bearing down on him."HA-YAH!!" A large amount of electricity is translated from the blade to Destadi at the contact.The force of the blow is so great a seven feet wide crater forms on the ground below them. Lifting his hammer blade up Loki slams it down on Destadi again,this time force less then initial attack,and then again and again,in quick consecutive slams,for total of seven in matter of ten seconds.Each time new surge of electric current is send through.Jumping up into air again he switches Raijin to proper hold and coming down drives blade into the ground,landing on the hilt.Balancing he grins and intones command.Raijin glows brightly,yellow glowing circle spreading from the blade to encompass area where Destadi is.Quickly kicking off and jumping into air again Loki lands further ways off just as the glowing circle erupts into massive electric explosion."Huff..huff..gotcha." Smirking he collapses down to one knee,driving Raijin into the ground and leaning on him heavily,chest heaving.Blood pours from wounds that were jostled open again.Pulling goggles back up to sit on his head Loki squints,vision going fuzzy from blood loss and extortion,trying to see if Altria is alright.Seeing her being glomped by Destadi Loki rubs his eyes.What the hell...wait,wait,that's not Destadi..it's that cloned copy.. Re..Re.... Rete...Retei?.. .No... meh,who cares. Looks like he got her out of the way just in time. Relieved she's alright Loki looks back to Destadi,waiting to see how effective his attack was. If he gets up after that like it was nothing I'll eat my goggles - - But bastard heals fast...can't heal electric attack..nrr..come on you freaky tiger,stay down.I'm not going to last much longer..heh..this is my first time using shikai too..man,I'm gonna need so much training after this to learn what it does..

Stopping and remaining absolutely still her grip on Tsukiyomi tightens,body tensing in preparation of incoming attack.Blood drips down her fingertips in steady rivulets. Tracking Destadi's blazing hollow presence as it moves around,circling to her side Altria smirks darkly,expression hidden by bangs falling into her face.Subtly shifting she prepares for incoming pounce,dark shadowed circle beneath her feet quivering in anticipation.Whirling around hearing Destadi at her side she brings her blade up,jolting out of concentration hearing someone calling her name.Deciding to ignore it Altria is taken by complete surprise when someone suddenly tackle glomps her to the side,landing on her back,solid weight landing on top."Ow..>< ..U-uwaah??" Looking up into Reitei's face Altria stares at him in confusion,"R-rei-kun??? Wha?"

About to pounce upon Altria in a raged fury, he misses when Reitei suddenly tackles her in a glomp. His claws become lodged in the ground, immobilizing him temporarily, only to become pounded and electrocuted repeatedly by loki. After being flattened and left in a smoking crater, it would seem that he had in fact been defeated. until, the scratching of something clawing it's way back up th crater, as well as heavy wheezing is heard. After five minutes, a splintered looking claw grips the surface of the crater, followed by the rest of Destadi, looking like hell, with many of his spines and bone armor broken away and splintered. His Hollow mask had been broken away on the left side, revealing the entire left side of his face and pupil-less sapphire eye with black surrounding the colored area. Dark blood pours down his face in a steady stream, also running somewhat into his mouth, staining his fangs and teeth bloody red in places. His left arm is bent at an odd angle, with splintered fragments of bone sticking out, the entire black armor shell covering his chest has been all but broken and shattered away, with a few pieces stabbing into him. and most of his bony tail has been broken away, of the twelve tendrils he had, only 4 remain, though 3 of them are broken at the end, proving unusable now. he crawls out of the crater, snarling in pure hatred, advancing for loki slowly. Then turns his attention to Reitei, blood pouring form his wounds, slowly healing.

Wheezing,blood pouring heavily from numerous wounds and collecting into puddles of red all around him Loki stares at the crater and Destadi's appearing form. Fracking hell!! What the #$% is he made off!!Agg,ya got to be joking meeee. Swearing Loki tries to get up with snarling Arrancar advancing on him. Vision going black for a moment,different colored spots dance all around.Leg giving out he collapses back down to one knee,ringing noise rising in his ears. Damn,damn,damn. Come on,geeet up!!! Incoming monster freak!!Gathering last resources Loki manages to force himself up into standing position,tearing open closed over wounds. Pulling Raijin out of the ground he teeters to the side,having to use his zanpakutou for support.

Hearing Mikiru's words of it being a messy encounter she smiles darkly,dangerous light flickering through her eyes,purple tinting into red undertones."Yesss,it will be veeery messy." Tugging her gloves Akkei's turns to the North and ongoing battle,"Let us reclaim what was stolen." Moving through the forest brush with uncanny agility Akkei steps out on the edge of the clearing,eyes quickly scanning situation,jumping from person to person.'Kid looks about to collapse..Destadi is beat up but healing..Who's the boy looking somewhat like Destadi glomping Altria?' Refraining from taking immediate action her anger stirs up seeing Destadi and shards,feeling of danger emanating from her in waves,purple haze of reiatsu slightly leaking out,gathering around her hands.

Having been staying out of the fight and trying to avoid getting involved, not wishing at all to be anywhere near Destadi, her eyes wander over to Loki. seeing his bleeding wounds and horrible injuries reopen as he forces himself to stand back up. Uriko shivers, hesitating on what to do. 'L-loki-kun! T.T h-he's.... he's in trouble... ! b-but.... th-theres ..... that hollow tiger.. advancing on him.... ah... s-so.. so scary!' Uriko continues trying to psyche herself into going over to help, but her legs remain rooted to the spot.. unwilling to move. 'n-no... >< I-T.. I don't want to g-go.... but.. if I d-don't.. l-loki-' trying to argue with her own thoughts, she finds herself unknowingly, taking slow steps towards loki and destadi, then goes more into a run, before actually shunpoing over to loki. taking great care, she gingerly tries to support him by wrapping one arm around his upper torso, being mindful of his injuries, getting bleed on by him in the process. she moves herself and loki away from destadi in a single burst of shunpo over to the cover of some trees, where she carefully helps loki down into a sitting position. Uriko quivers, heart racing frantically, hoping that her little stunt did not draw destadi's attention. She glances back, checking to see if Destadi is around, then quickly turns her attention to loki. 'this.... th-this.. is horrible.. T.T l-loki-kun... h-hold on...' kneeling down on her knees, she holds out her hands placing them close together and channeling her reiryoku to them, creating a soothing feeling while mending his injuries.
