~The Main HQ Building~

There's a soft shimmer as the gates open and Akkei staggers in,supporting Mikiru by the waist."Hold on,we're close to my quarters.You sure got into a fine mess this time."

Mikiru leans heavily on Akkei, his breathing is severly labored but doesn't complain about his injuries. "........."

Reaching black double doors with her name on them in curving letters she quietly murmurs some words and they silently swing open.Walking into a big bright room she heads towards the huge bed near the windows,easing Mikiru onto it."Mhm,wait here.I need to get a few things.." Turning around she disappears into one of the side rooms.

He winces slightly as he's eased onto the bed, but he refuses to make a sound. He looks around slowly then closes his eyes and tries to relax. "........."

Reemerging from the room with a big medical kit in her hand she pulls out a chair near the bed and sits down.Taking off her witches hat and placing it on the desk she leans closer to examine the blade embedded in his chest."Hmhm,not too serious..hold on,this'll hurt a bit." Grasping it gently she pulls it out in one quick motion and drops on the desk."Right then,now take off your coat so I can bandage the wound."

Mikiru winces as the blade is pulled out, but then relaxes. He carefully removes his tattered coat, his breathing becomes slightly more labored. "....... nhg....."

With apologetic smile she opens the med kit and pulls out some bandages along with a small jar."Sorry Mikiru-chan,I know it hurts even if you don't say anything.This will sting a little at the start but it's a special formula of my own design,it'll heal that wound in a few hours tops and numb the pain now." Unscrewing the airtight jar she gathers a generous amount of green,herbally smelling paste onto her fingers and leaning close carefully spreads it across his wound.

Mikiru winces again as Akkei applies the herbal medicine to his wound. "...nhg....." he forces himself to relax dispight being in imence pain.

Wiping her fingers on a cloth she picks up a roll of bandages and stands up to have better reach."It's almost over..the pain should be receding now too." With practiced movement she quickly bandages the wound,tying a knot."All done!How does it feel?Not too tight?"

Mikiru relaxes and lets out a sigh of relief. "....... i'm fine......... thank you madam Akkei.." he seems to drift of into sleep. "i'll have to repair Tatsutahime....... pity..." he slips off into a sleep like state.

"Hmhm,good.Do rest now,Kurai can help you repair Tatsutahime later..he's surprisingly good at it too." Packing up the medical supplies back into the kit she places it on the side table in case it's needed later.Picking up her hat and putting it back on she walks to a large oval mirror in a black,gothic design frame hanging in the corner of the room.Looking at her reflection for a long moment and adjusting the hat so her mask remains are not seen she traces gylphs on top of it,murmuring activation words.The surface glows and ripples,a figure appearing."Well,you're back already?Did it go well,Akkei-chan?" Doing a mock bow she settles into the chair near the mirror."Yes,Thoth-sama it went fine.Mikiru-chan got hurt though.." "Oh?Not seriously I hope?What happened?" She waves a hand dismissively,"No,no..it should be fine,no trace in a few hours.This little shinigami,apparently someone from his past,froze him in a glacier..it was quite unexpected from that slip of a girl.Hmh,I wouldn't mind studying her abilities and that other one's too.." Gazing into the distant in thought she shakes her head at a polite cough."Sorry.Anyway,I'll bring the files after analyzing them." "That's not you job Akkei-chan.You should give them to the one responsible for it." With a big innocent smile she leans forward,"Maybe not but it certainly concerns me.I'll be careful..we wouldn't want it to get damaged or erased by accident on the way,right?" There's a chuckle from the other side of the mirror,"You never change my dear.Alright,if you put it that way..you have permission.But don't forget,those machines recovered are also your responsibility." Nodding she stands up,placing a hand over the mirror."Oh,and Akkei?" Pausing she inclines her head slightly,"Yes?" There's an invisible push and her witches hat falls to ground softly."You really should stop hiding those pretty horns underneath that hat,it's cute but they suite you more.There's no reason for it,especially at home." Before she can reply the image fades and she's left with own reflection once again.Narrowing her eyes she takes a few calming breaths,getting murderous intent under control."Hmph,you just enjoy doing that..let's see who's teasing who after I turn your hair pink again,Thoth-sama." With a mischievous smile she picks up her hat off the floor.

Mikiru is fast asleep, his breathing has returned to normal and seems to be far more relaxed. the wound he sustained from his broken scythe has begun to close as well.

Deciding against it she flicks the hat onto the mirrors edge,leaving it hanging there.Unloading all the "taken" machinery into a special box to be taken to her lab later she lastly pulls out the flash drive."Let's see what secrets you're hiding,dearest...whee...hee..hee.." Dancing in circles towards the desk near the bed she flicks a purple colored laptop into awake mode,settling into a comfortable black round desk chair.Plugging the flash drive in to the laptop USB Drive she also pulls out her tablet,connecting it as well.In a few moments she gets completely absorbed with decoding and analyzing the information.

~Seven Hours Later~
The room is half dark with light coming from the nightstand lamp,the computer screen and the desk near the bed Akkei is working at. The flickering screen of the laptop shows six open files with pictures and plenty of text,all lined up in a row.The first one has a picture of Akkei herself only there are no mask fragments on her head,2nd shows Mikiru in normal shinigami uniform,3d picture of another arcana member,4th a picture of Miyuu but instead of cat ears there's an actual mask,5th has no photo and last one shows Altria..only much younger then she is now and with slightly shorter hair.
Still sitting in the chair Akkei's leaning forward and half laying on her desk,and computer keyboard,fast asleep.There's a steady rise and fall of her chest,dark lines of exhaustion gathered around her closed eyes.

Mikiru walls into the room and drapes a blanket over Akkei, he then goes over to a chair near the walk and sits down. (His wounds have healed for the most part, and he's back to wearing his usual outfit.) "......." (in thought) 'heh....... fell alseep again... silly Akkei.'

Feeling something warm settle around her and a familiar presence she opens her eyes blearily and sits up.Turning the chair around so it faces him Akkei stretches her hands lazily,feeling incredibly tired.Yawning she rubs her eyes sleepily."Mmm,Mikiru-kun? How are you *yawn* f-feeling?Did my healing paste *yawn* w-work?" Uncurling her legs and clutching the blanket around herself she stands up with eyes half closed and tries to move towards the bed.Only her legs fell asleep after having blood circulation cut off for so long and instead she topples over with a thud. "Nhn..uwah?" Blinking in confusion she tries to get up once more only succeeding in falling again,getting a bruise on her left side from Sagishi still clipped to her belt and twisting her ankle. "Owwie..that bloody hurt.." Touching the ankle and immediately regretting it when pain explodes and shots all the way up her leg she decides it's best to leave it alone.In a fit of stubbornness she gathers the blanket around herself and plops down."I'll just sleep right here on the floor then,hmph.And it doesn't hurt at all,nope..noopeee.." Quietly she hums her favorite song of Mikiru's for distraction.

~OOC:A quick note.It's hard to tell day from night in Hueco Mundo but right now it's about 10 pm at night.

Mikiru glances over at Akkei, he gets up from the he was sitting in and walks over to her. ".......... Akkei, Akkei........ Kurai mentioned it was bad to sleep at your desk.." he chuckles slightly and gathers Akkei into his arms carefully not to agitate her twisted ankle, and carries her to the bed placing her gently on it. "..... I'm doing better..... as always, your medicine is amazing." he smiles at Akkei, and starts heading for the door.

"Hmph,just because this happened once before...What does stupid Kurai know anyway,I'm the one working my horns off while he's off doing Kami knows what and with whom." Stretching she yawns,"Thank you though.And I'm glad you've recovered." Glancing at the computer screen still displaying the files she frowns."Hey,Mikiru-kun?Do me a favor please,close those files and shut my laptop down?It'll overheat otherwise and Thoth said he's not paying for a 10th one..and Yasei with Zero managed to spend most of my human money on something called hentai,which they wouldn't show me.." Growling she darkly mutters something about "stingy baka's that neither understand true science nor see it even if it came and bit them on the mask and even worse baka's that spend others money on crap" while un-clipping Sagishi and placing it on the side.

Mikiru walks over to the laptop and closes the files then closes the screen. "anything else before I go? I have security duty in 30minutes and need to find Kurai so Tatsutahime can be repaired."

"No,no,that's it.Thank you.If you want stupid Kurai he should be in the library,hiding at his special spot to avoid work and reading his favorite vampires crap again.Do give him a message though,I want him to find the other two idiots and drag them off to bed.We have to leave for a mission bright and early tomorrow and I'm not wasting two hours waking them up again.Oh,and if they wake me up coming in tonight I'll make them sleep in the labs for a month.Thanks and goodnight." Yawning she snuggles into the bed and under the covers,closing her eyes and immediately drifting off,still tired from overworking.

Hisashi came back from recruiting but didn't get any recruitments. He went to his room and rest.

Mikiru returns after the fight with shiro and altria, he collapses after taking a few steps into the main hall of the HQ.

hisashi felt mikiru's arrival and he's weakening reaitsu. he stands up from his bed and rushed over to the main hq. arriving there, no one is there but he felt the left remained reiatsu.

"He sure got himself beat up this time."

tracing his reiatsu, he follows it leading him to akkei's quarters.

"I wonder how's he doing?"

There's a snap of the door opening and a sleepy looking Akkei walks in,evidently just from the labs since her hands are filled with numerous folders and files."I've been looking for you two jerks,how dare you leave me to do all the work alone again!I out to.." Noticing Mikiru bleeding on the bed her eyes widen."Mikiru-kun? What in Thoth's name happened?" "We found him like this in the main hallway.Someone from medical department should be here soon but until then.."" Dropping the files in the chair she hurries over."Yasei,go fetch the red box from the labs now.And do it quickly!"With quick steps Akkei heads into one of the rooms,coming back after a few moments with another white box.Grumbling something incoherent Yasei walks out the door,bumping into Hisashi."Oh,it's you?"
