Lured by faint light

Event Name: Lured by the faint light.
Goal of the event: Find a pair of dangerous Hollows and exterminate them.
Specific Users:No.
Location: Human World-Beijin,China.
Story: Soul Soiety received reports of a pair of dangerous Hollows that often prey on the humans of a small town.Out of all the soul reapers sent to kill them only three came back.One in a delusional state,mumbling something about "fairy lights" and "monstrous spiders".Another was unconscious and still remains in a coma like state despite 4th division's best efforts.The last man collapsed after getting his two comrades back and died shortly for unknown reasons,his only injury was a sallow cut on the cheek.A simple extermination has now become a serious issue.Any soul reapers sent on this assignment are urged to be extra cautious.

Soul Society,around 10 in the morning

Rereading through the mission assignment in his hands Loki's face lit up with a grim smile."Perfect.I'll get revenge for you Jin,I swear.And there's just the person to help me do it too." Strapping on his zanpaku-to he heads out and towards Altria's quarters,knocking on her door loudly.

Turning in bed she hides her head under a pillow as there's some kind of loud noise but it doesn't help."Mhm..wha.." Blinking her eyes open bleary she stumbles out of bed half asleep,trips on the covers and falls down with a thud."Uwah..that bloody hurt.." Staring at the ceiling for a few moments she growls angrily as the knocking doesn't go away and pulls herself up.Noticing the time her expression only grows darker."Whoever it is,it had better be a bloody emergency or I'm gonna bloody murder them." Slamming her door open she stalks into the living room and angrily flings the front door open with a snarl."WHAT??"

shin happens to cross by and been startles by altria's WHAT, then he runs back and hides..

"Eh? Bad timing huh. I should better hide or else I'll be involved."

upon hearing Altria scream WHAT?! he falls out of bed and hits the floor with a thud, "OW!!! ahh.... why me?!"

Jumping in surprise Loki gulps and hastily backs away a few steps."Aha ha ha,g-good morning Altria.I see you were still asleep at this late hour?I just received a dangerous mission and was wondering if you'd go with me on it,just like the good ol--" his words trail off as he gets distracted,suddenly noticing she's still wearing her night sleepwear.Realizing staring in this situation could potentially lead to an untimely,likely excruciatingly painful, death he quickly looks away and manages to continue."--good old days."

Narrowing her eyes Altria grabs him by the front of the uniform and drags close so they are face to face,angry fire dancing in her eyes."Late hour?Do you know at what time I went to sleep?Do you?" She shakes him back and forth a few times,"Obviously not or you wouldn't be causing all this ruckus on my doorstep at bloody 10 am!With all the work piled up and a patrol duty I just got into bed at 5.Because unlike some goof offs I actually have work that needs to be done on time!I don't care how dangerous this mission is,go bug someone else!And if you stare at me like that again there won't be enough of you left to identify the body." Pushing him backwards she slams the door shut.

Shiro peeks out of his room silently to see what's going on, noticing Altria fuming angrily he decides to go back into his room and closes the door quietly. " eee..... she's so scary..." T.T Fenikkusu ruffles her feathers.

A bit dazed Loki stares at the door.
Maaann..I know she's not a morning person but bugger,that was scary.Well,I'm not giving up that easy,there's no way I'm going on this mission alone.Time to bring out the secret weapon.
Walking close to the door again he bangs on it loudly once more."Aaalllttriiaa!!! I'm very,very,very sorry for awakening you.I truly did not know.But I do need your help.You owe me big time,remember?After all the things I have done for you.." he sniffs and continues in a teary voice " such as saving your life,you are so ungrateful.What happened to your shinigami pride and honor?Always paying back your debts?All I'm asking for is a tinsy-insy favor.." he sniffles loudly for emphasis " yet you are being so cold.Yueh-san would have been shamed!"

Shiro unlocks his door and swings it open, still sleepy and mildly annoyed he walks past Altria. "rrgh..... i wanna sleep! today's my day off......." grumbling angrily he opens the door. he has an irritated expression on his face, "grr..." he points at Loki and turns, " Fenikkusu!!! " a small black pheonix flies out or Shiro's room and lands on Loki's head, it proceeds to peck him.

"Poor dude...should i help him out? but...altria-san..is so...ahh whatever"

shin went to loki...


"What's goin on, loki?"

Uriko is in her room and has been up for a long time. she writes in her diary about past events, then stops after finishing the log about the most recent mission she was on. ".............."

Startled by Shiro's appearance Loki shrieks loudly,but manly, when the bird lands on his head and proceeds to run around in circles."Get it off,get it off,get it off!Shin-kun get that thing off me. T.T " Note:After a Hollow involved incident he's been scared of getting attacked by birds. XD

'Don't strangle him,don't strangle him deep breath..' Feeling like banging her head on the nearest available wall she utters a long suffering sigh before grabbing Loki by the back of his uniform."Stay still you fool.That's Shiro's zanpakuto spirit,stop panicking already.Fenikkusu please don't peck him,Loki's afraid of bird attacks and well,it's kind of my fault." Dragging Loki inside she dumps him on the couch."Alright,you have my attention.That guilt trip is not gonna work forever you know.Now,what's the mission and why in Hueco Mundo you couldn't ask someone else,like Shin for instance?"

shin is surprise..

"Me?"

shin faces loki with somewhat a smiling face..

"She's just kidding loki-kun, hehe, right altria-san?"

"No I'm not.He's unofficially a part of this division and you two now know each other from the Cafe.I don't see why I'm the one always suffering.." With a sigh she takes a seat,rubbing her eyes tiredly.'Sleep..I just wanna sleep.Maybe I can find a way out of this..' Yawning she stares at Loki,"Well?Start explaining the mission or I'm throwing you out and going back to bed."

"Aw,you're being a meanie Altria." Eying Fenikkusu suspiciously he pulls out a piece of paper and quickly reads from it about the three returned shinigami and the mission."The one in the coma,it's Jin.I know him back from the academy..that's why I thought with some help we could find out what happened?"

Shiro is still groggy and yawns. "...... hmph...."
Fenikkusu flutters over to Loki and perches on his shoulder, she stares at him unblinkingly.

"Jin.." Looking thoughtful for a moment she frowns as that name sounds familiar. "Wait..I knew Jin too.We used to spar together a lot." With a sigh she gets up,"Alright,I'll come.Stay here and wait,I'll go get dressed." She quickly disappears into her room.

Loki twitches but otherwise remains unmoving,keeping watch on the bird,glancing at Shiro from time to time. "......"

Fenikkusu leans closer to Loki's face, continuing to stare.
Shiro goes to sit on the couch across from loki and falls asleep.

Emerging from her room after a while,fully dressed in her usual clothes,she utters a small laugh seeing Fenikkusu staring at Loki."Am I interrupting something?" Poking Shiro she tries to get him awake,"Hey,I'm leaving.If anyone comes looking please tell them I went on an optional mission,thanks."

"Altria,let's go already." Jumping up impatiently he can't wait to get away from the bird.Grabbing her arm he drags her out the front door and down the hall leading towards the senkaimon.

shin whispers..

"whew, finally it's settled."

shin turns to altria

"I'll follow as back up altria-san, i got things to settle first."

She manages to call back to Shin,"A-Alright!Take your time!" Starting to get angry she tugs her arm away from Loki violently,"Stop dragging me already!I can walk!" With a burst of flash step she quickly arrives at the gateway,a portal already glowing prepared."Maybe it's better we're going on ahead.I have a bad feeling about this and last time my hunch was right.This hallucinations/coma business sounds fishy.Now,let's go." With a sure step Altria walks through.

Shiro flash steps and appears behind Loki, "H-hey! Wait for me!" he follows after Altria.
