~The Stat System~

There is a very basic and easy to use stat system in place.Your character has four basic stats:Strength,Defense,Speed and Reiryoku.
Strength is the power of your physical attacks. It answers for how much you can lift, how hard you punch and kick, how strong you hit with a zanpakuto, etc. It's applied to combat with or without a weapon. The higher this stat is,the more physically able your character is.Strength gets compared against your opponent's Defense and in certain cases their Strength.(For example,if you and opponent are in zanpakuto lock, your strength would be matched against opponents to see who has better chance to overpower/push back.)
Defense stands for your defensive power. It answers for blocking and parrying, how good your armor is,how lasting a shield would be,how tough your body is and how much damage you can take. The higher this stat is the better your character is at defending themselves. For Arrancar, defense also stands for how hard their Hierro is,with each point in this stat making their skin more difficult to penetrate.Defense is matched against incoming attacks.
Speed tells how fast your character is.It answers for dodging, mobility, acrobatics, attacking speed, how fast a shock-wave gets to opponent, time taken to move from A to B,speed of a ranged attack and projectiles (this includes both weapon and reiryoku based ranged attacks). The higher this stat is,the better your character is at avoiding attacks. However, please remember no character can dodge every attack send their way.In battle your speed would be matches against opponents.
Reiryoku,or Spirit Energy, determines how much spirit energy a character has. This stat tells how skilled you are with reiryoku based skills, such as kido, cero, bala, ginto, etc. It influences how effective certain abilities and techniques are and influences power of your non-physical attacks. The higher this stat is the better your character would be at abilities using reiryoku, such as kido and cero. When using offensive abilities this stat is matches against your opponents Defense, for other abilities their effectiveness is dependent on value of Reiryoku stat.
Final stat is Endurance. This is the physical endurance your character possesses and it is slowly drained during combat. When this stat runs down to zero your character becomes overcome with exhaustion and unable to fight further.Same goes for your opponent. Therefore higher endurance value gives advantage in battle. To calculate Endurance add together Strength,Defense,Speed and Reiryoku. This number is called Total Stat Points or Total SP.Now divide it in half and you have your Endurance. (So if my Total SP=50,my Endurance would be 25. )
Each post in a thread that involves any combat action;dodging attack, kicking opponent, attacking with a weapon,etc-drains one Endurance. Each three non combat posts restore 1 Endurance point but only if they are uninterrupted by combat.Endurance is renewed for each new thread your character enters.Using skills and techniques costs Endurance.

Stats are used for comparative purpose to keep fights fair. You are given opportunity to determine flow of battles using fairness, good sportsmanship and common sense along with the overall stat system as a loose guide to compare abilities and level of your character to the opponents.Given freedom do remember, mods are always around.

By posting in threads you get awarded AP,or Ability Points,at the threads conclusion.Amount awarded depends on number, and most of all, quality of you posts.Mission and Training threads yield normal amount,Past threads give you half the amount of AP earned while Plot threads double amount of AP earned.Upon creation of a character you are given base amount of AP,depending on their rank and quality of application. Each time a character levels up they also receive a small amount of AP.What can it be used for? With AP you can purchase skill advancement, create custom items, buy techniques and convert it into Stat Points or SP.
Stat Points are distributed into four Stats:Strength,Defense,Speed and Reiryoku.
The rate of conversion of AP into SP falls into couple categories based on your Total SP and is as follows:
Total SP 000-100 ...05 AP = 1 SP
Total SP 100-150 ...10 AP = 1 SP
Total SP 150-200 ...15 AP = 1 SP
Total SP 200-250 ... 20 AP = 1 SP
Total SP 250-300 ... 25 AP = 1 SP

As mentioned above,AP can be spent/put into skills advancement. Like Stats, they are used for comparative purpose in order to keep fight fair.Skills are various areas pertaining to your characters abilities. For example,Zanjutsu. How good or bad is your character at this? How do they compare to their opponent?Or let's take kido.Is your character a master of it like Aizen or as bad at it as Renji? Skills are sorted by race. The advancements for skills are as follows:
None: 0 AP points.(Starting rank).Your character has no ability for this skill or has never used it.Example would be Shinigami picking up Quincies cross and trying to create a bow.
Novice: 1-20 AP points. Novice means you've started learning how to use this ability.Example would be Shinigami academy student beginning to learn kido.
Beginner: 20-60 AP points. Beginner means you're starting to learn how to use this skill/ability to hold your own against opponents. Example would be Renji's Kido abilities.
Basic: 60-200 AP points. Basic means you have mastered fundamentals and can use this skill/ability effectively in battle. This is a level for areas your character is less skilled in.Example would be Renji's bankai abilities during his fight against Byakuya.
Intermediate:200-400 AP points.Intermediate means your character is on the way to getting better, having achieved good mastery over the skill/ability but has room to grow. Example would be Ichigo's zanpakuto abilities during battle with Byakuya.
Advanced: 400-600 AP points. Advanced means you've reached great control over the skill/ability.Example would be Byakuya's Zanpakuto abilities.
Master: 600 AP points. Master means you have reached the peak and there is no possible way for you to be better at this skill. You have perfect, masterful control over it.Example would be Aizen's Zanpakuto abilities. Please note:You man only Master 3 skills!!!!!
